Eyebrows can make or break a face and that’s why it’s important to take care of them, and chose the right shape for your face, or your models face.
Ideal Eyebrows for Different Face Shapes
Eyebrows for Oval Faces: Generally, soft angled eyebrows work best to maintain this ideal oval, face shape.
Eyebrows for Long Faces: Flat shaped eyebrows make a long face appear shorter. Its horizontal line draws attention away from your elongated face, and instead shed some length off the face.
Eyebrows for Round Faces: High arched eyebrows are perfect to elongate the face because their lines draw the eye up and down, making your face appear longer. Create more vertical lines and avoid any round shapes, as this will make the face appear more round.
Eyebrows for Square Faces: Begin with a curved eyebrow shape and then add more angles to soften and balance out your strong jaw line. If you have a stronger and bonier jaw line, a more angled shape should be created, while sharp angles at the top of the brow make the jaw line appear stronger.
Eyebrows for Heart Shaped Faces: The forehead may be the widest part of your face so it is important to soften and balance the prominent forehead and pointed chin. Start with round, curved, and low-arched brows then add more volume to elongate the forehead, while balancing out the narrow chin.
For Diamond Shaped Faces: Curved eyebrows will soften the whole face while making the face look less wide at the temples.

How to Groom and Shape Eyebrows
1. Do not over-pluck!
This is where women get into trouble. Over-plucking can lead to weirdly shaped eyebrows that are too thin. The best shape is the shape you were born with minus a little through the help of grooming.
2. Pick Age Appropriate Shapes
Take into consideration your age before you start shaping. A younger woman can wear more defined and arched brows to match bolder makeup, while the more mature woman should consider more elegant brows that are soft in definition and shape.
3. Invest in an Eyebrow Razor
One of the best tools for DIY shaping is an eyebrow razor. This handy tool can help get rid of all the pesky little hairs below the eyebrows and along the eyelids. It has a built-in angle that lines up with the size of your eyebrows.
4. Trim Long Hairs
Trim any long eyebrow hairs with small cuticle scissors and do this once every two weeks. If you need some definition and arch to your brows, apply a dark taupe powder to the brows with an angled brush.
5. Condition Your Brows
Apply sweet almond oil or jojoba oil on your brows each night as a conditioner to help the hairs become shiny and soft.
