As I don't to ruin my models hair I have decided to tie in coloured cotton strands in order to create the effect of dreadlocks. I think this will look really fun and colourful in my models hair as she is bright blonde. I bought a bag of yellow and green coloured cotton from Hoby Craft and moulded them in to shapes that resemble dreadlocks and the length of my models hair.

Using white feathers and a piece of polystyrene for the body I created a butterfly to be used within my timed assessment look. I coloured the wings in green and yellow and for the finishing touch I added glitter and jewels.
