Looking at lips and colours, the most iconic red lip look that stands out for me is Marilyn Monroe. Although her make-up usually was quite natural off camera, when she appeared in movies or her fabulous poster shoots from 1953 to the late 50's her make-up was gorgeously done. Lisa Eldridge does a brilliant tutorial on this iconic look, and I found the little tricks that her make-up artist did were really interesting. I especially love the idea of the eye-lash shadow affect created by make-up, its something that I've personally never thought of but is a really clever idea.
